STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT IS AMAZING AS F---- -Popkinkajou

Above is a gameplay clip from when I wrecked a bunch of Rebel scum as they spawned in. (IT IS A BETA SO THIS ISN'T THE FINAL GAME)

I wasn't too interested in Battlefront, but the other blogger on this site, Dorwulf, was constantly hyped for it and said that "Battlefront 2 was amazing and I can't wait for a reboot" And lo and behold, the reboot is closing in on us.

AND WHAT FUN IT IS!

I never realized that I desperately wanted a game like this. The shooting WILL take some time to get used to (bullets don't insta-travel. They're lasers) And with only 2 multiplayer maps and 1 half-survival mode, I am already too hyped for the game.

I decided to cancel my Black Ops 3 preorder and I have since switched my preorder to Star Wars Battlefront. I believe everyone else should too.

There's a sense of Old school to the game with there being no Aim Down sights. And a CHOICE between first person and Third person. And Well well well!!!! THEY BOTH WORK.

If you can't tell I'm too hyped and I am still going to kick ass in the Beta. Can't wait for the game's launch November 17th.

My Guild Wars 2 journey update -Popkinkajou

Hello,

Unfortunately I'm still a level 20 Charr Warrior. I put him into PVP trying out all of the skills and stuff throughout the week that I completely forgot to level him up.. Oops.

I set a challenge with a guildmate/teammate named Keigo in a race to see who can reach max level first and whoever does the loser owes them something.

From what I can tell he is still a level 18 Human Ranger so I still have the lead on him! Good good.

While talking about the ranger, let's go over some details about them!

Ranger. Before the buff they where kind of weak after the buff there single target DPS is massive. If you can find the enemy driver and burn him down you can make a zerg a lot weaker as they scramble to get him op. They are over all a good solid class, but i have not had a lot of time with them so i can not say a lot more about them.

Their pets are so OP when it comes to auto-targeting in PvP that you'll never avoid that mother f****ing pet of theirs...

Plus their ELITE specialization is the Druid, all about healing.

I feel like that elite specialization will be amazing in the new RAID coming in Heart of Thorns.

Advanced Warfare is dead to me -Popkinkajou

So I've been thinking... Should I play Advanced Warfare again? And my body just instantaneously says no.

I guess a Call of Duty game really only has a 1 year lifespan. Except this time I'm not even interested in Black Ops 3..

I believe Call of Duty is an amazing franchise. But some years you just have to skip out on. I think this year it's the year for Star Wars Battlefront.

NOT TO SAY THAT I DIDN'T HAVE FUN IN ADVANCED WARFARE

As stated in a previous blog post, I really enjoyed the game.

I had a blast sniping. Even if I'm mediocre at sniping.

I had my greatest match ever as well. (Same map. I guess I'm good at this map)

BUT I have no desire to go back. For now, it's all about Guild Wars 2 (I cannot stream it because my computer is pretty cheap and flakey)

Charr Warrior Adventures -Popkinkajou

Hello,

First things first: I did not get rid of my Engineer. Kink Jou still exists in the realm of PvP. I simply wanted a different character to use for PvE. And here comes... ROKTHAR THE GREAT!

The Charr are fearsome cat-like beasts who live and breathe for war.

While they are ruthless, relentless terrors to their enemies, charr are also brave allies who can form unbreakable bonds of loyalty.

Centuries of endless war have molded charr society into the most advanced militaristic and industrial race in Tyria. Their culture is dominated by the High Legions, which are in turn composed of smaller warbands of charr who live and fight together. Every charr—from the fiercest legionnaire to the humblest farmer—sees themself as a soldier.

Although the charr once again control their ancestral homeland of Ascalon, their grip is not as tight as they would like. Centuries ago, the last human king of Ascalon summoned the Foefire, a magic cataclysm that turned his people into vengeful ghosts who to this day wage a ghostly insurgency against the charr. Meanwhile, the Flame Legion, a faction of sorcerous charr outcasts who worship false gods, wage a civil war against the other three High Legions, seeking to regain their former dominance.

Yet the greatest and most immediate danger has been brought by the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik. Once freed from its deep tomb, the dragon flew south, its mere presence scouring and transforming the land beneath it. That blasted landscape serves as a battleground for the dragon minions’ continual war with the charr.

THAT'S the Charr.

The Three Legions are Blood Legion, Iron Legion, and Ash Legion.

Blood Legion is the frontline assault. The Soldiers of the war. MY legion. Ruthless, brave, and never surrendering, Blood Legion is unstoppable.

Iron Legion deals with the weaponry and the machines of war. Smart, tactical, and endearing, they are needed for their machines of war.

Ash Legions are the sneaking masters. Cunning, quiet, and out of sight, they will get you at any corner of the world if you don't pay attention.

My Charr is as of this post.. a level 20 going through the Plains of Ashford attempting to complete the map. The Warrior class does well for fast killing in the world and utilizes many weapons compared to my Engineer. I like him. He's a big furry cat of death.

Will I play Call of Duty again? -Popkinkajou

I know I was all about Call of Duty... but for some reason after playing Guild Wars 2 I don't feel the desire to switch to any game anymore. Although I am interested in Star Wars Battlefront, I don't intend on spending the majority of my time playing it. I feel as if I will be spending all my time in PVP in Guild Wars 2.

Call of Duty is fun. It is casual and easy to get into. It has many senses of emotions and it is very fast paced. However, theres no real skill involved. I believe this is the reason why I like GW2 more.

What class should you play? -Popkinkajou

“What class should I play?” In Guild Wars 2 you're not confined to a certain combat role by your character class, and instead what class you should use is determined mainly by your play style. Picking the class that's right for you is an important, but sometimes daunting choice.
Below is a brief summary of each of the eight playable classes – noting their pros, cons and unique mechanics. This guide doesn't go into details about each game mode or provide popular builds, but instead gives an outline of what is appealing about each class and lets you discover the details.
Also it's worth noting that while I may mark some classes as 'Easy to play', this refers to their learning curve. In truth every class has a very high skill ceiling and you'll never "outgrow" an easy class - there's always more tricks to learn and tactics to master.
Warriors
Easy to play, High Durability
Heavily armored and well armed, warriors are your go-to front line brawler, built to take out opponents with ample amounts of brute force and aggression. With the highest defense in the game, a wide array of weapons to choose from and a number of offense boosting capabilities, warriors fight enemies toe-to-toe and overwhelm them.
Adrenaline is a special mechanic to help warriors in combat. Adrenaline is built each time a warrior lands an attack, slowly filling a meter above your weapon skills. This adrenaline bar allows you to unleash a powerful attack based on what weapon you're holding in your main hand – ranging from laying down giant rings of fire to powerful single strikes. The more adrenaline you've built up, the more powerful the effect when you activate it.
+High Damage Output - Warriors are the undisputed kings and queens of the raw numbers game. No matter what your build or weapon choice you're still going to be very dangerous.
+Natural Durability - Along with good damage warriors can also claim to have the highest possible health and armor totals available to players, making them very hard to take down.
+Weapon Selection - No matter how you want to fight, or who you're fighting, warriors have a tool for every occasion. Want some ranged AoE Damage? Go longbow. Looking for some added condition damage? Pick up a sword. Want to punt somebody off a cliff? Hammers work just fine for that.
+Offensive Support - Warriors are no slouch when it comes to supporting allies, and they really shine when it comes to adding to your party's damage output, using a number of shouts and banners to add more raw damage to any party.
-Shallow Bag of Tricks - Warriors have their fair share of control conditions like stuns and immobilizes, but even using those they're still forced to come at their foes head on. If you can't win by direct combat, warriors have very few alternatives.
Guardians
Medium difficulty, High Durability
Guardians are an armored hybrid class, able to fight with both sword and magic. Based on the classic paladin archetype, guardians specialize using boons to bolstering themselves and allies while still being effective in direct combat.
Fitting with the theme of buffs and boons, guardians have a special mechanic know as Virtues. Virtues provide a guardian with three always-on buffs to strengthen them. These buffs can be temporarily sacrificed to empower nearby allies, turning a personal source of power into potent support tools.
+Survivability - Guardians actually have very low health pools and lackluster healing skills, but more than compensate for it in other ways. The Virtue of Resolve provides constant health regeneration when active, Virtue of Courage allows guardians to block attacks periodically, and a number of weapon and utility skills provide added regeneration, protection and healing. They also wear heavy armor to mitigate whatever damage does manage to get through.
+Strong Boons - One of the best support classes in the game, guardians stack boons on themselves and allies with ease. Beside the quantity of boons they can throw out, guardians have ready access to nearly every boon in the game, allowing them to buff allies however it's needed.
+Damage Prevention and Healing - Possibly their strongest feature, guardians have a number of skills that remove conditions, restore health or straight-up deflect enemy attacks. A well timed skill like Shield of Absorption can save your entire party from certain doom.
-Poor Ranged Combat - Guardians are respectable fighters while in melee range, but in ranged combat they're lackluster. They only have one true ranged combat weapon, and while it deals good damage it's awkward when trying to hit a moving target.
-Long Cooldowns - To offset the potential impact of all their powerful blocks and heals, many Guardian skills have very long recharge times – so if you mistime your skills, you may not get a second chance.
Ranger
Easy to play, Medium Durability
Rangers are a jack-of-all-trades class, with weapons and skills to help them adapt to anything they might face. Fighting at melee or range, rangers use quick movements and agility to outmaneuver foes in a fight.
A ranger's special mechanic is their pets. A ranger may charm any pet he finds in the open world, and once he does so can switch to it or any other pet he's charmed whenever he's out of combat. Your animal companions come in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from tanky bears and hounds to swift and deadly hawks and cats, each with unique stats and skills. Though not always reliable, pets can provide a boost to your damage output and protect you from harm.
+Versatile - If you ever find yourself in a situation you're not prepared for, you're playing the class wrong. With many classes you have to specifically gear and trait yourself to fill a role, a ranger can swap between combat roles easier than any other class, and still do them effectively. Rangers can also pick a more specialized pet to compensate for any weaknesses they may have.
+Ranged Combat - Rangers have effective melee weapons, but their ranged combat abilities are especially noteworthy – rangers have arguably the best ranged single target damage of any class.
+Mobility - Rangers have a number of jumps, rolls and evades built into their weapons, allowing them to skirt around the edge of a conflict or dance around an attacker with ease. Kite like a boss.
-Awkward AoE damage - While still able to deal damage to multiple targets, rangers have a hard time doing it – usually requiring them to line up multiple foes and hit them with a single arrow, or getting in close and laying traps at their enemy's feet.
-Pets can be Unreliable - While they can certainly save your butt in small skirmishes, pets can be downed very quickly in some situations. Most notably pet's don't dodge out of AoE spells, making them useless in large group fights like WvW or some dungeons.
Engineer
Hard to play, Medium Durability
Engineers are one of the most unique classes in GW2, and in MMOs in general for that matter. Although only able to equip a handful of conventional weapons, engineers have access to a number of specialty weapon kits like flamethrowers and grenades, giving them a deceptive number of combat options. Engineers also have a large number of tricks and gizmos to help them, though learning to master these tools can be difficult.
An engineer's unique mechanic is their tool belt. Essentially, instead of equipping a single healing or utility skill in each slot, engineers equip a pair of skills – one is the “normal” version equipped to the slot and another corresponding skill is equipped to your tool belt. For instance you can equip 'Elixir B' to your normal slot, and 'Throw Elixir B' will be added to your tool belt. These tool belt skills are often weaker compared to normal utility and healing skills, but the added versatility they offer are a powerful tool in the hands of a engineer.
+Weapon Kits - Engineers have a pitiful 3 combinations of conventional weapons, but it's hard to notice that when you're switching between a flamethrower, twin pistols and elixer guns on whim. Equipped as utility or healing skills, weapon kits replace your current weapon once activated, turning one utility skill into 5 separate attacks. You can swap between weapon kits freely and there's no cooldown like there is with other class' weapon swapping, ensuring always have access to the right tool for the job.
+Conditions and Boons - Engineers have access to a crazy number of boons and support abilities. They are also one of the most effective classes at stacking conditions on a target.
+Huge Number of Skills Available - Between weapon kits and tool belt skills, engineers have access to a impressive number of tools and toys at any given time.
-Complicated - The above point can actually be a huge downside to newer players, as it takes time to learn what your myriad of skills can do. For instance, if you have an elixer gun equipped you can pull it out and lay down a healing field, but in the chaos of combat it can be easy to forget about it – or if you do remember you have it, remembering what buttons to hit to get it.
-Melee is Awkward - While they do have a few short-ranged tools, engineers aren't really built for close combat, so dealing with closing enemies can be difficult – especially for newer players.
Thief
Medium difficulty, Low Durability
Thieves are your classic assassin or rogue type characters, boasting superior damage output and mobility. Thieves are adept at moving in and out of combat, striking down a target at the instant an opportunity presents itself and then getting away safely.
Thieves have a number of smaller unique mechanics to them. First is that thieves can steal from opponents – activating your Steal ability teleports you to your target and grants you a single use of one of several special skills, depending on what type of creature you stole from. Thieves also have no cooldown on their weapon skills, instead they use Initiative which is a resource shared between all your weapon skills. You can use Initiative to repeatedly spam a weaker attack or spend it all to use a powerful skill several times in a row. Last, when a thief is wielding two one-handed weapons they can use both of them for a Dual Wield attack that changes based on what specific weapon combination you have equipped.
+Burst Damage - Using their Initiative system, thieves can unload a large amount of damage in a very short amount of time. Combined with their naturally opportunistic fighting style, thieves are very good at spiking down targets.
+Mobility and Positioning - Thieves have access to a number of teleports and dodges, allowing them to engage and disengage their enemies with ease. Because they can cover a lot of ground quickly, thieves are very good at catching foes when they're weak and unprepared.
+Stealth - More so than any other class, thieves can utilize stealth. A number of utility skills – and even a healing skill – allow you to cloak you and nearby allies to let you slip away from dangerous situations or sneak up on enemies.
-Fragile - Although they wear medium armor thieves have a very low amount of health, so you'll have to make good use of your mobility to make sure take as little damage as possible.
-Loses Effectiveness in Large Group Combat - Thieves are much better at dueling or picking off lone opponent than they are in large scale combat - their ranged weapons don't have a very long reach, and they only have a handful of AoE skills.
Elementalist
Hard to play, Low Durability
At first glance you may think of an elementalist as your typical stand-and-deliver magic caster, but if you try to use them as a back line artillery piece you won't get very far. An elemantalist is a complex and intricate class, and getting the most out of them is difficult – but very rewarding. Boasting some serious damage output, powerful utility and arguably the best mobility in the game, a well played elementalist is a very powerful fighter.
The unique mechanic of an elementalist is their ability to channel four elements – Fire, Water, Air or Earth. Depending on what element you're currently channeling you'll have access to a completely unique set of weapon skills (with their own separate cooldowns), and the properties of many of your utility skills will change as well.
+Elemental Attunements - Your ability to channel different elements essentially turns your one equipped weapon set into four – each with a different specialization. Learning when to swap to each element and using your full arsenal of skills is essential to playing an elementalist – if you only stay in Fire the whole time you're locking yourself out of the elementalist's full potential.
+Mobility - To compensate for their low survivability, elementalists have a large repertoire or movement skills to get themselves out of trouble. Much QQ has been had from players trying to chase down a wounded elementalist.
+Lots of Combos - Elementalists are the masters of 2 + 2 = 7. An elementalists can use many skills in tandem to produce results much greater than the sum of their parts. Not only can elementalists combo with their own skills, but they also lay down a number of elemental combo fields to help allies as well.
-Terrible in a Straight Fight - The downside to having so many neat tools is that you're expected to use them. If you don't milk your skills for all they're worth or make proper use of combo fields, elementalists are pretty weak.
-Very Fragile - Elementalists are far and away the squishiest class in the game. If you can't mitigate or avoid damage you'll be spending a LOT of your time admiring the floor.
Necromancer
Easy to play, High Durability
An interesting take on the typical dark spell caster, necromancers combine a large and versatility skill set with an amazing amount of staying power. Necromancers win through attrition and pressuring opponents into submission, able to inflict an impressive number of conditions and shrug off counter attacks – the longer a battle goes, the more of an advantage a necromancer builds over their opponent.
A necromancer has use of Death Shroud, which provides a them with a unique set of skills as well as acting as a secondary health pool. As nearby creatures die or as a necromancer uses certain skills, your Life Force bar will fill up. A necromancer can then use their accumulated Life Force to activate Death Shroud – your Life Force drains over time or as you take damage, but while in Death Shroud your skills are replaced with a new unique skill set. While in Death Shroud damage you take is subtracted from your accumulated Life Force and not your health, giving necromancers a huge boost to their already great survivability.
+Versatile Skill Sets - Even a year after launch there's STILL a ton of debating among necromancers as to the most effective play style – that should tell you just how many different strong play styles there are. While many people prefer condition based play necromancers can also tank, control opponents, lay down impressive AoE damage, summon hordes of minions or even heal and support allies.
+Conditions - When properly equipped for it, Necromancers are considered the best class in the game at stacking conditions on their unfortunate targets. Necromancers have access to a number of powerful controlling effects (most notably Fear) as well as being able to stack health degeneration effects like Bleeding on multiple opponents for heavy sustained damage.
+Survivability - Between Death Shroud, their large health pools, their great healing skills and traits that allow you to leech health from enemies, necromancers are very sturdy. They do wear light armor though – otherwise they'd be unkillable. Necromancers also have access to a number of skills to help them defend against particular enemy strategies – for instance Spectral Armor can help you survive burst damage, or Consume Conditions can alleviate a lot of condition pressure.
-Limited Mobility - Once they have someone in their grasp, necromancers can control and pressure them forever – the tricky part is catching them in the first place. Their lack of mobility also makes escaping from a losing situation more difficult as well.
Mesmer
Hard to play, Low Durability
Mesmers are the trademark class of the Guild Wars series and are one of the most unique, subtle and deadly classes in any game. Specializing in manipulating foes and countering their opponents strategies, a good mesmer will generate more hate in PvP chat than all other classes combined.
A mesmer specializes in creating Illusions to either confuse, damage or otherwise hinder their foes. These summoned pets resemble their owner and come in two varieties: Clones look just like their creators and have low combat abilities, designed more to trick opponents momentarily. Phantasms are noticeably transparent and magical, and have powerful attacks to add to a mesmer's damage output. All Illusions can be used by the mesmer with their Shatter skills, which causes Illusions to self destruct in exchange for one of several powerful effects depending on which Shatter is used..
+Tons of Unique Tricks - A mesmer has a very large arsenal of tools including reflecting projectiles, stealthing allies, creating portals for allies to warp through, making decoys, and much more. A good mesmer always has something on hand to turn the tables on their opponent.
+Powerful “Pet” Play - You know what's more frustrating to fight than a mesmer? Four mesmers. A mesmer can summon Illusions as temporary allies, so your enemies always have multiple opponents to worry about. If you're lucky you can even get your opponent to waste powerful attacks on your Clones.
+Control - As a mesmer, you'll be making your opponent fight on YOUR terms. Stacking Confusion to punish them for using skills, blocking attacks, reflecting projectiles, teleports, or constantly harassing enemies with your Illusions, a mesmer will always find a way to throw their opponent off their game.
-Fragile - One of the least durable classes in the game, mesmers are forced to rely on their many blocking and mobility skills to survive. Having weak condition removal skills doesn't help either – you're only defense is not getting hit in the first place.
-Ineffective in Direct Combat - If you exhaust your bag of tricks mesmers are very poor at exchanging blows with opponents. Mesmers can't dish out much damage without their Illusions and other tools, so if you find yourself in a corner you're going to be at the mercy of a very, very angry warrior.

My addiction never ends -Popkinkajou

Hello, I've come to the realization that Guild Wars 2 is an amazing game. Why haven't I heard about this game sooner? The PVP is great!!

The Engineer is a great advanced class, the Mesmer is the most annoying thing on the planet, and everything regarding a condition damage is always being screamed about yelling "NERF THAT DAMAGE"!

Who am I? Well, you can add me ingame! Anthogorbe.9450

Now, when you want to pvp you can play with me!

a Pyromancer build for the Engineer in action. Enjoy :)

Everyone's waiting on PS4 game releases to stream again. Hold on.

I got tired of Advanced Warfare and I don't have a good enough PC to stream Guild Wars 2

SCRAPPER! Guild Wars 2 Elite Specialization and SAB talk -Popkinkajou

Firstly, The teaser for the Elite for the Engineer has finally unveiled it's true nature. The SCRAPPER. Although lore-wise, if you're a Charr in the Iron Legion, being a "scrapper" means you're worthless. Hilariously that's going to be a thing.
Also there was an event a long time ago called the Super Adventure Box. Which from the video you will see down below, seems like a very tough but very fun jumping puzzle. There is also more news about the Scrapper,

Be sure to support this youtuber for bringing content to us as frequently as possible.

Also Dorwulf! I know you're a lvl 80 now. I will catch up to you! I'm jealous you are able to do the Fractals of the Mist (end game dungeons)

Guild Wars 2 Engineer ELITE Specialization Revealed!! -Popkinkajou

The Elite Specialization for the Engineer class has been revealed for the latest expansion for Guild Wars 2 called Heart of Thorns.

The speculated name is "Forge" and it seems from the teaser trailer it relates to using drones and having the ability to equip a Hammer.

From the video produced by Wooden Potato, he explains his reasoning behind the speculation for the name, what he feels about the class, and what it may mean for Engineers.

This is a major change to the normal Engineer gameplay, because the Engineer never had any close quarter combat weapons besides a few kits. Adding the hammer greatly changes the overall gameplay to the Engineer and is quite possibly the biggest change for ELITE specializations from the expansion.

I play Guild Wars 2 now.. -Popkinkajou

Yep. You heard that right. Dorwulf talked me into it and now I am addicted. I am an Engineer who loves to PVP. I set up turrets and defend points so well that I am usually the top of the team. Nobody can get past me and my barrage of turrets.

The engineer also has many utilities, such as kits to use in combat. Those kits could support the team or destroy the enemy. Knowing when to switch kits before the match starts is the key to victory.

Here is an expert's guide to a good PVP build. For anyone interested in playing the game, I suggest playing as the Engineer if you are good at multitasking.

Why I think Games are failing to impress -Popkinkajou

Because it's all about money.

-The end

I'm kidding. The reason why I think games are moreso becoming a one-time exploration is because they do not make enough money if you stick with that game for more than a year. So what do they do? Release smaller games for full price and release one each year to make a yearly profit.

Money makes the game and money is expected from playing the game. Why, then, do we allow this?

Because we have no choice. Companies are all becoming more enthralled about money.

Hell, look at Bungie. They released a game based on hype, made a lot of money, and look at the game! It was a total mess. No story, repeat instances and just simply lazy design. Sure, if you loved grinding that was the game for you. Other than that, no. The game was pretty bad.

A good look at a company would be Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Franchise. It's an open world game FILLED to the brim with activities and side quests. It is a game that you can spend a lot of time in. AND IT'S AN ANNUAL GAME. This is content and Quality that everyone wants.

Or, they can split the work for an annual release like the Call of Duty Franchise. Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer all take turns each year releasing a game. This way, annual release, money, and you keep buying it.

Annual release means more profit. So smaller games for more money. See what I'm saying?

That's why everyone wants a classic. Because they cared about us back then.

(I still buy the games I want so F--- you)

Today is September 1st -Popkinkajou

Ah... A new month. Getting closer to game releases. New games coming out.. One month closer to Black Ops 3..

I'm going to use this time to reminisce about the times I spent on Advanced Warfare because soon that game is going to be a game that I'll never touch (true story)

I remember the first time I had to learn how to boost jump and boost dodge. It was a fun experience for me.

My first elite weapon was the Polar Vortex which was the EM1 laser weapon. That thing was cool. It made me feel all giddy and excited.

I earned a Legendary headpiece which looked like the enlisted spec-ops helmet which kind of made me mad, but I don't mind anymore because it matched with the outfit I made out of the other gear that I had unlocked.

My killing sprees and pulling off wins that was a tough battle.. All the memories of having to fight harder to get the victory.. It was a good experience.

This was a great game. No doubt about it. But Call of Duty is a yearly franchise and it's almost time for Advanced Warfare to become outdated..

Black Ops 3 will be the reigning champion for 2015-2016!

Why I stream -Popkiknkajou

Hello,

I got asked why I don't talk in my stream.

Here's the answer: I stream to show off my gameplay, not my person. Sure, almost all of Twitch says "personality is key" and "the person makes the stream" but sometimes it's the gameplay.

I know I'm not that good at games but I still play for fun. Just think of my streams as a little getaway into a game and you don't want to hear some other person babbling on about wanting to eat chicken.

If you want to hear someone talk and someone to interact with you, watch DORWULF or CATSHOOTER. They will do the talking for you and they DO stream to show off their personality.

Hopefully that clears things up. LET'S REVIVE THIS BLOG SHALL WE?!

The power of Black Ops 3 -Popkinkajou

First off, I'd like to point you towards the direction of my FIRST few matches of Black Ops 3 in my Twitch Highlights by clicking HERE.

I have played a bit more afterwards but did not stream it. BUT to catch my streams, follow me on twitch by clicking HERE.

I would like to first, start off by saying this game feels like a masterpiece in itself. The movement is top notch and although I miss the Exo-suits from Advanced Warfare, the slight boost jump mechanic is a welcome addition. Especially the wall running. Some maps require you to maneuver on a wall to get from Point A to point B which is a feat in itself.

The guns feel like they are meant for me. Each and every single weapon felt strong and I did not feel as if one was weaker than the others. Hell, even the SEMI-AUTO snipers could 1-shot kill someone if you hit them in the chest. They are useful?!?!

The SPECIALISTS are a cool addition to Call of Duty and I have picked my favorite, being Ruin. The gravity spikes help out in tough situations such as defending a point that is being attacked by multiple enemies, use Gravity Spikes to wipe the floor clean. OR you can simply choose to run at SONIC levels of speed for things like CTF or Hardpoint or other gamemodes where you need to get somewhere super fast.

The maps are okay to say the least. There's hardly any room for camping which is welcome and many ways to counter a position. The only gripe is that some maps are way too small for gamemodes such as the new Safeguard mode.

NEW GAMEMODE DURING BETA?!

Safeguard is a gamemode where you take a robot from point A to point B and the only way to do so is to stand near him. It's a cool new mode but some maps are WAY too small for this. There is a lot of spawn killing that happens near the goal.

THAT IS MY REVIEW OF THE BLACK OPS 3 BETA.
Score: 9/10

BEATBOXINGCAT! Please play this game with me. It's F2P And it's really fun. Hit max level and we can do the end-game raids together. THIS is better than Elder Scrolls Online IMO.

Excalibur rework - Beatboxingcat

So there is a new rework coming for Excalibur on warframe. Although this is going to happen eventually for the pc it is going to take a while before the rework for Excalibur will come on the Ps4. When it is coming out on Ps4 is not my concern, my concern is telling you guys what his new abilities are.

1st ability: Slash dash - Instead of just going forward like the normal slash dash, the new one will now sort of go back in forth between enemies in a cone.

2nd ability - Radial blind -  It will become usable with out being still, so basically you can use it on the go while still moving, rather than standing still to use it.

3rd ability - Super jump - This ability will removed in the rework and being replaced with radial javelin which is his fourth  ability but is now becoming the third.

NEW 3rd ability - Radial javelin - Excalibur will stab the ground and create multiple swords that will impale anything in any direction.

NEW 4th ability - ????? - Excalibur will wield a energy sword sort of, I guess. I don't know how to really describe it, but it believe it will be something similar to Valkyr's hysteria.

My source of info about this is right HERE.

Hell hath cometh -Popkinkajou5

For your enjoyment.. here's a video of Towerfall! Now on Xbox One and PS4.

I AM TIRED OF ADVANCED WARFARE. I've hit a wall. I think I'm done with FPS games. Just kidding. I'm just done with Advanced Warfare. A long time ago, I had many friends to play it with and it was always fun. Now, I'm always alone. It's not fun.

Everyone's off playing their own games.

DORWULF IS STREAMING ASSASSIN'S CREED UNITY. Like you're getting game after game after game STOP.

I'm so broke. I have 3 games. Advanced Warfare, Battlefield Hardline, and Minecraft. Like.. Ew.

SORRY FOR NOT POSTING -Popkinkajou5

Sorry my computer broke. I am BACK! And I have news for you!

I HATE CALL OF DUTY!

The New Black Ops 3 sounded cool and all, but all of the leveling required for EACH specialization (9 different classes to separately level up) is just obnoxious for me.

I've noticed Airmech Arena being a game the other bloggers are talking about.. I might check it out.

Thanks for not wasting time reminding me about making a post.

THIS IS THE NEW M1 IRONS PISTOL IN ADVANCED WARFARE. KICK ASS WITH IT GUYS

EKKO - Beatboxingcat

So the new champ Ekko has been released for the PBE (public Beta environment) for league of legends. So now lets talk about his abilities. (also league of legends is a PC game, not for ps4)
(ABILITIES MAY CHANGE IN THE FUTURE)

Passive: Ekko's damaging spells and attacks build up Resonance stacks on his enemies. Every third attack against the same target triggers Ekko’s passive, dealing bonus damage and slowing his enemy. If he triggers his passive on an enemy champion, you get a small speed boost.

Q: Ekko throws a device in a target direction, damaging all enemies along its path. Once it reaches max distance or hits an enemy champion, the device expands, creating a field that slows all enemy and neutral units. After a few seconds it will return to Ekko and deal damage on its way back.

W: Passive: Ekko’s basic attacks deal bonus damage to low health targets.
Active: Ekko opens a time rift, creating an alternate reality copy of him that tosses a device to a target location. If he steps in the sphere then all enemies inside will be stunned and will grant Ekko a small shield.

E: Ekko dashes a fixed distance towards a target area. Once his initial dash has ended, Ekko gains greatly increased range on his next basic attack, deals damage to the target, and apply on hit spell effects.

R: you rewinds time, shortly turning untargetable and invulnerable before reappearing wherever he was a few seconds ago. Once he reappears, you  recover a portion of the health you lost over those few seconds while dealing tons of damage to all nearby enemies.
(The green highlight looks so cool <3 xD)
Here is a champion spotlight of EKKO. (this is not the official ekko champion spotlight by riot. I do not know when the official spotlight will come and when the actual champion will be released.)

NEW CHAMP / Conversation - Beatboxingcat

HEY GUYS! A teaser for the new champion named EKKO for league of legends.

The new champion is named Ekko. Finally another black champion for league. If you dont play league their is only 2 champions that are black and those are Lucian and Ekko, but Lucian has a skin that makes him white xD.

Either way, Ekko's abilities seem to go back in time, but I would guess that would be his Ult. or "R". One thing i'm not sure about is that if you go back in time you can activate the ability multiple times or just once (since he goes back in time continually). It also seems that in the teaser, if you go back in time you don't receive any health back (as it shows that his arm was still crushed even though he went back in time). Now time for my really pissed off rant.

OK, things happen at the worst time. No really they do. My radiator broke, so I now do not have a Air Conditioner and its hot as hell. Worst part about it is that to fix it it will cost near 4000$ (USD) to buy a new one. so yea, that concludes my pissed off rant.

NEW ROYALTY ELITES-Popkinkajou5

There are new Royalty Elite variant weapons coming to Advanced Warfare! First there's the M1 Irons pistol coming for free, SAC-3 getting a non-akimbo variant of it which is basically a new SMG, and now we're getting a whole slew of brand new ELITE Weapons!

CHECK IT OUT GUYS

New trailer for Elder scrolls Online - Beatboxingcat

Again we start off being a prisoner, just like in every other elder scroll game. Honestly I don't know why Bethesda always makes us a prisoner, but that's not the point. The thing that interested me the most is when they said you can go "alone", I currently am not sure how you can go solo.

Another thing that touched my interest is how life is going to be if you become a outlaw and "steel" (see that pun right there, because you know, swords and stuff?) people's money (really, you were a prisoner for what ever crime you did and you want to continue your criminal career when you have just been given a second chance, dang....) and how successful you can be at it too/make profit.

One last thing I really found interesting is THE CHAMPION SYSTEM, once you reach level 50 this system will activate and I have no clue what it is, but really seems interesting to me. Well that concludes all that I found interesting in this trailer and as always have a good day and follow my twitch Here.

Specialists in Black Ops 3 -Popkinkajou5

Call of Duty has always been about the one soldier that you create. Gone are those days. Now you have SPECIALISTS!

Specialists are the new meta for COD. There will be 9 specialists at launch and each have a separate leveling tree. They have backgrounds and stories behind them and each are unique. They also have a unique weapon and ability that you can activate once you fill up the ability gauge.

Ruin is a cybernetic Viking
At first glance, you might think Ruin is just your average futuristic soldier, but this guy is missing a few organic appendages. Ruin was so dedicated to becoming the ultimate super soldier that he got his own arms cut off to replace them with a set or more powerful bionic limbs.

With this newfound bionic tech he likes to approach battles not unlike the Incredible Hulk: get right up in his enemy's faces and smash them. Ruin's first equippable skill are his Gravity Spikes. When your ability gauge is full, activating the Gravity Spikes launches Ruin into the air as he slams the ground, sending a wave of destruction all around him. His alternate ability, called Overdrive, accelerates all movement for a short period of time. Perfect for capturing flags.

That one is one example of the 9 specialists coming to Black Ops 3.

How do you guys like the work I put into this post! I'm learning right???

RISK OF RAIN - Beatboxingcat

Hey! I recently got Risk of Rain as a gift from my friend ,but enough about me lets talk about the game. (this post is going to be a long one)

So maybe some of you are wondering what Risk of Rain is and maybe some of you already know what it is, but for the people who don't know what it is, i'll tell ya. Risk of Rain is a rogue type game where if you die you have to start all over again (So basically, don't die ;D). The game also has a Binding of Issac feel to it because of the items you can get/stack onto each other, but we will get into that later. *SIDE NOTE* the controls are very different than most games (no really they are....) so basically you move by the arrow keys instead of the WASD buttons, to jump you use the space button, and to use your abilities or skills you use the ZXCV buttons.

Also you may be wondering what the objective of the game is, well to put it simply you have to find a teleporter to the next level, but I would recommend to not do that because once you activate it, you have to fight a boss ( I learned that the hard way). What I personally recommend for you to do is to wait until your character gets to level 7-9 before setting out to find the teleporter and fighting the first boss. *SIDE NOTE* I am pretty sure that each bosses are randomly chosen for each level and by beating a boss you will unlock a different character. There are currently 12 characters in the game.

Now let us talk about how to get items and such. When you kill a creature or a enemy (whatever you want to call them) you get gold or coins, (again call it what ever you want to) by getting enough coins you can open chest's, summon creatures from statues (you get a reward by killing all the creatures that you summoned), and finding a shop where you can purchase items. One thing about the chests is that there are different types of chests and depending on which one you unlock you will get a certain rarity of a item (you can see the different types here). Now onto the stacking of a item, if you have more than one item they can stack onto each other and grant you a increase of the buff of the item that is currently being stacked. (example here)

One last thing is that as you progress through the levels the enemy's become tougher (obviously), but you also have a timer telling you how tough the enemy's in the level are. As the time of how long you spend in each level increases, the creatures start to become harder to kill, so basically you want to complete the level by not spending to much time, but also not completing the level so fast that you will be under leveled and be completely destroyed in the next level. (I also learned that the hard way)

Now this concludes all that "I" know of Risk of Rain. Here is the offical website and Here is the Steam store for Risk of Rain, if you have steam of course.

Mortal Kombat X Progress has been made -Dorwulf

Hey all, I have been playing a lot more Mortal Kombat X lately and have been streaming at random intervals! This is why I keep saying to follow my twitch. CLICK HERE TO FOLLOW MY TWITCH (skip ad button top right). I have been practicing my Scorpion and I have gotten adequate training in pulling off the BASIC COMBOS listed on the Moves list. Now it's time for the advanced chain combos that all the pros do.

The best way to learn is to "watch other pros" but they input commands so fast and you just can't keep up with the spectacle that is happening. The best way is to LOOK at the combos, meaning the button presses. Read the combos and go into practice and try to pull it off yourself.

Front Punch = 1
Back Punch = 2
Front Kick = 3
Back Kick = 4

Kombo 1. - F+2, F+2, (1 hit) Spear, J2, J4, Teleport, 2,1,4, Teleport.

Kombo 2. - J2, 1,2,3, Teleport, B+2, (Walk Slightly Forward) 2,1,4, EX Teleport, Run Cancel, 2, 1, Spear, B+3, 2, F+2

(Source)

Scorpion has 3 different variations. Inferno, Hellfire, and Ninjutsu. In the pro community, Inferno is the best. Me personally, I'm never going to reach pro anyway, so I am going to stick to the Variation I like to play: Ninjutsu. It has many sword combos that are pretty easy to pull off, however, I may be going to try to practice inferno eventually.

After I get Scorpion down, the plan is to learn my second character. Any thoughts on who it should be? Let me know.

Here is an in depth tutorial video about MKX Combat. If you are interested in the game, I suggest watching this to understand the concept of the game.

Thanks guys for reading.

Are you tired of League of Legends?!?! -Popkinkajou5

Okay one thing first: I've never played League of Legends or Dota 2 because it's hard to learn. I'm a "fucking casual git gud fgt" guy that everyone points at. BUT I FOUND THE MOBA GAME FOR THE CASUAL ME!!! It's called STRIFE. Click Here. It's basically the casual man's MOBA where it's shared experience, easier last hits, no "denies" of minions, cute artstyle, etc. This video will explain it much better than me!

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China 2.5D of freshness - Mepfistamor

Assassin's Creed is a series that has been seriously and thoroughly explored. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but unless the formula is changed it can get "same-y". Oh look I've played this before but now I get a boat. Holy cow I'm warping through time and space.... Memories. I'm here to tell you that they have finally added fresh flavors into the mix.

First let me start by saying Shadow Complex is one of my favorite XBLA games, and ranks highly among all games especially "Metroidvanias". Secondly allow me to say that Assassin's Creed 3 and it's Tyranny of King Washington DLC specifically are my favorite AC titles. As usual this blog and my statements are opinion and should be taken as thus. Also a grain of salt might be advised.

This new AC takes place in an era and location we have always needed but didn't know to ask for (Japan was highly in demand due to ninjas, as a nature fit). The first of 3 parts of AC:Chronicles takes place in China. Its artwork, music, sounds, characters, and items all stem from this core. Which is vital as the artwork is what allows you to immerse yourself in a side scrolling AC game.

2.5D is a seldom explored approach to creating a game. It forced you to think and look in depth which is extremely effective as this is one of the first AC games that I feel has a strong "puzzle solving" element. In previous AC games you had some freedom of approach. Kill target A but you can do this through pure undetected stealth, you could try and swash buckle your way through, or in later entries you could take a ranged or even hands off approach. Even though a side scroller would seem to limit you, it in fact makes you think harder to achieve massively distant routes. Do you want to brawl your way through all opposition? Would you prefer to assassinate all enemies but do so purely invisible, or would you wish to remain as a shadow and not once be seen by the opponents? This is possible and more thought through than finessed through. Timing and approach surpass finesse and reaction time.

We will have to see how the next 2 parts play out, covering Arabian locations and Russian locale. For now I recommend the 10 dollar cost for a fleshed out and stimulatiing Assassin's Creed experience.

GTA 5 PC CHEATCODES - Beatboxingcat

For all those people who play GTA 5 on the pc you may know that cheat codes are now available by pressing the "~" button (which brings up the console). Another thing is that these codes do not give you more money or make you have a higher rank, instead they give you things like slow motion, being able to be drunk, etc. All that aside this is great for screwing around with your friends or just playing by yourself. Now lets get into the codes >;D

The actual code will be highlighted
