I play Guild Wars 2 now.. -Popkinkajou

Yep. You heard that right. Dorwulf talked me into it and now I am addicted. I am an Engineer who loves to PVP. I set up turrets and defend points so well that I am usually the top of the team. Nobody can get past me and my barrage of turrets.

The engineer also has many utilities, such as kits to use in combat. Those kits could support the team or destroy the enemy. Knowing when to switch kits before the match starts is the key to victory.

Here is an expert's guide to a good PVP build. For anyone interested in playing the game, I suggest playing as the Engineer if you are good at multitasking.

Why I think Games are failing to impress -Popkinkajou

Because it's all about money.

-The end

I'm kidding. The reason why I think games are moreso becoming a one-time exploration is because they do not make enough money if you stick with that game for more than a year. So what do they do? Release smaller games for full price and release one each year to make a yearly profit.

Money makes the game and money is expected from playing the game. Why, then, do we allow this?

Because we have no choice. Companies are all becoming more enthralled about money.

Hell, look at Bungie. They released a game based on hype, made a lot of money, and look at the game! It was a total mess. No story, repeat instances and just simply lazy design. Sure, if you loved grinding that was the game for you. Other than that, no. The game was pretty bad.

A good look at a company would be Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Franchise. It's an open world game FILLED to the brim with activities and side quests. It is a game that you can spend a lot of time in. AND IT'S AN ANNUAL GAME. This is content and Quality that everyone wants.

Or, they can split the work for an annual release like the Call of Duty Franchise. Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer all take turns each year releasing a game. This way, annual release, money, and you keep buying it.

Annual release means more profit. So smaller games for more money. See what I'm saying?

That's why everyone wants a classic. Because they cared about us back then.

(I still buy the games I want so F--- you)

GUILD WARS 2 IS FREE -Dorwulf

Guild Wars 2, an award winning MMORPG is now NOT buy-to-play, but it is now free to play.

Check this game out for yourself guys! It's a blast.

Webiste is HERE

What the free to play offers:
"Our Business Model

Guild Wars 2 has the simplest of business models: buy the game and play it as long as you want with no monthly fees. We’ve been championing this as a great business model for MMOs since launching the first Guild Wars® a decade ago. We continue to believe in buy-to-play. It’s good for gamers and good for developers.
This business model has been fantastic for Guild Wars 2 and our fans. Since launching three years ago—almost to the day, today—we’ve sold more than 5 million copies of the game. And we’ve delivered more than 40 major content releases, with world-changing events, Living World episodes, and feature packs, all free of charge.
Expansions are the one place where the buy-to-play model gets a little tricky. When you’re coming in as a new player to a game that has a bunch of expansions, what exactly should you buy in order to play with your friends? The base game and also every single expansion? We’ve seen examples in the industry where that kind of thing has gotten out of control. It doesn’t seem right, and we want to do better. As we get ready to ship our first expansion for Guild Wars 2, we want to ensure that we keep the business model friendly and simple. So let’s be clear that when we say Guild Wars 2 is buy-to-play, we’re only asking you to buy one thing: the current release, Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns.
To accomplish that, we’ve already included the core game as a free bundle for anyone who buys Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. And today we’ll go a step further: we’re making the core game free for everyone. For anyone who’s been curious about Guild Wars 2, now you can just go to guildwars2.com, download the game, and start playing.
If anyone can play Guild Wars 2 for free now, does that mean we’re switching business models to free-to-play? Are we going to be one of those games that aggressively monetizes free players through microtransactions? Absolutely not. Guild Wars 2 remains the same game it always has been. We’re making the core game experience free because we’re confident that anyone who loves Guild Wars 2 will buy Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns."

A Call to Action

Guild Wars 2 is famous for having the friendliest community in online gaming, and that community continues to grow. With Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns on the horizon, of course the game was going to have an influx of new players. And now, with this change, it will have a larger one. I ask you, the game’s veterans, to be the friendly faces that will welcome all these new players to the game.
To celebrate this special three-year anniversary of Guild Wars 2, we’re giving current players an all-new Royal Guard Outfit. Wear it with pride whenever you want to show that you were there early on, and that you’re someone that new players can go to for help.
Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns is full of end-game content, including Masteries, Fractals, Stronghold, and our newly announced challenging group content, raids. It’s coming on October 23, just 55 days from now! This is the perfect time to bring new players into your guild, to help them level up and master their professions, to practice coordinating as a team, and to prepare for all the challenges that the jungle will bring.

Black Ops 3 BETA GAMEPLAY/COMMENTARY -Dorwulf

Although the beta is long since done and the video could be out-dated, I deemed it worthy enough to show it off here as well. It is simply a gameplay commentary done by yours truly.

FOR HONOR -Dorwulf

The game that I am most excited for and a game that I would like to try to go professional at is a game that is NOT a shooter or an RPG or a MOBA or anything of the sort. It is a glorious game that demands strategy, tactics, reading your opponents, and mastering the art of combat.

The game I am talking about is a game called FOR HONOR.

FOR HONOR is a competitive third-person melee fighting game mixing speed, strategy, and team play with visceral close range combat in multiplayer action. Experience the chaos, fury, and brutality of battle where you and your friends cut a bloody trail of carnage as brutal Vikings, deadly Knights, and cold-blooded Samurai.

The innovative ART OF BATTLE system lets you feel the power of every strike, the strength of every impact, and the weight of the weapon in your hand. What this system is, is when you find a formidable foe (opposing player) you can lock onto him to activate the ART OF BATTLE. What this mode is, is a method to block and attack from three different angles. If the opponent swings from the right side, you must block on the right side or prepare for a gruesome death.

There are Three different factions in For Honor. In simple terms: Knights, Vikings, and Samurai.

The knights: The Legions
On the shoulders of great heroes, The Legions have driven out invaders, conquered any who would not join them, and established hundreds of others to defend what is theirs. Facing invasion on two fronts, these heroes fight to protect their lands from the heathens who would take it.

The Vikings: The Warborn
Striking fear in the hearts of their enemies, The Warborn warriors sail across the Boiling Sea to raid the southern coast. Known for their fire and passion, these Heroes embody what it means to be warriors. Leading the charge, they will drive their enemies out of their ancestral lands.

The Samurai: The Chosen
The Chosen have survived a thousand years of wandering the southern deserts. This journey should have wiped them out centuries ago, but they have survived thanks to the skills and focus of their great heroes. These Heroes hope to lead their people to an impossible victory and establish a new homeland.

MY FACTION OF CHOICE: The Chosen

Since I am partially Japanese and I am enthralled by the idea of Bushido ("Bushido" is a modern term rather than a historical one. The "way" itself originates from the samurai moral values, most commonly stressing some combination of frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery, and honor unto death.) and the blade I most favor is the Samurai Katana.

I believe this game is going to be a genuine experience with many things to learn from this game. To conclude, I will leave the reveal trailer for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for reading.

Today is September 1st -Popkinkajou

Ah... A new month. Getting closer to game releases. New games coming out.. One month closer to Black Ops 3..

I'm going to use this time to reminisce about the times I spent on Advanced Warfare because soon that game is going to be a game that I'll never touch (true story)

I remember the first time I had to learn how to boost jump and boost dodge. It was a fun experience for me.

My first elite weapon was the Polar Vortex which was the EM1 laser weapon. That thing was cool. It made me feel all giddy and excited.

I earned a Legendary headpiece which looked like the enlisted spec-ops helmet which kind of made me mad, but I don't mind anymore because it matched with the outfit I made out of the other gear that I had unlocked.

My killing sprees and pulling off wins that was a tough battle.. All the memories of having to fight harder to get the victory.. It was a good experience.

This was a great game. No doubt about it. But Call of Duty is a yearly franchise and it's almost time for Advanced Warfare to become outdated..

Black Ops 3 will be the reigning champion for 2015-2016!

Why I stream -Popkiknkajou

Hello,

I got asked why I don't talk in my stream.

Here's the answer: I stream to show off my gameplay, not my person. Sure, almost all of Twitch says "personality is key" and "the person makes the stream" but sometimes it's the gameplay.

I know I'm not that good at games but I still play for fun. Just think of my streams as a little getaway into a game and you don't want to hear some other person babbling on about wanting to eat chicken.

If you want to hear someone talk and someone to interact with you, watch DORWULF or CATSHOOTER. They will do the talking for you and they DO stream to show off their personality.

Hopefully that clears things up. LET'S REVIVE THIS BLOG SHALL WE?!

Continuing my TWITCH streaming! -Dorwulf

Hello, I am Dorwulf, and I'd like to say that I do continue my twitch streaming endeavors. Currently, I do not have a set schedule so the only method of knowing when I DO stream is to register an account on Twitch, and click "follow" to get an E-mail for when I do go live.

The many games I stream are all to my own personal preference and in no way sponsorship of a game streaming unless I say otherwise.

The method I currently earn revenue from Twitch is through a method called PATREON.

Yes, I know this whole post is a self-promotion post, but it is necessary to get the word out about my stream and what it means to me. I play games for fun, yes, and I'd like to share my fun experiences with everyone else. However, life is tough and money is scarce and I'd like to see the support from you guys on patreon to be able to continue doing what I do.

CURRENT SCHEDULE PLAN
Summer 2015: Elder Scrolls Online and Rocket League
Fall 2015-spring 2016: Star Wars Battlefront and Elder Scrolls Online
Summer 2016: Fallout 4 and TBD
Fall 2016-Spring 2017: TBD
[DISCLAIMER: These will NOT be the only games that I will be streaming, just the primary game that I will be streaming. Follow me to know when and what game I stream!]

The power of Black Ops 3 -Popkinkajou

First off, I'd like to point you towards the direction of my FIRST few matches of Black Ops 3 in my Twitch Highlights by clicking HERE.

I have played a bit more afterwards but did not stream it. BUT to catch my streams, follow me on twitch by clicking HERE.

I would like to first, start off by saying this game feels like a masterpiece in itself. The movement is top notch and although I miss the Exo-suits from Advanced Warfare, the slight boost jump mechanic is a welcome addition. Especially the wall running. Some maps require you to maneuver on a wall to get from Point A to point B which is a feat in itself.

The guns feel like they are meant for me. Each and every single weapon felt strong and I did not feel as if one was weaker than the others. Hell, even the SEMI-AUTO snipers could 1-shot kill someone if you hit them in the chest. They are useful?!?!

The SPECIALISTS are a cool addition to Call of Duty and I have picked my favorite, being Ruin. The gravity spikes help out in tough situations such as defending a point that is being attacked by multiple enemies, use Gravity Spikes to wipe the floor clean. OR you can simply choose to run at SONIC levels of speed for things like CTF or Hardpoint or other gamemodes where you need to get somewhere super fast.

The maps are okay to say the least. There's hardly any room for camping which is welcome and many ways to counter a position. The only gripe is that some maps are way too small for gamemodes such as the new Safeguard mode.

NEW GAMEMODE DURING BETA?!

Safeguard is a gamemode where you take a robot from point A to point B and the only way to do so is to stand near him. It's a cool new mode but some maps are WAY too small for this. There is a lot of spawn killing that happens near the goal.

THAT IS MY REVIEW OF THE BLACK OPS 3 BETA.
Score: 9/10

BLACK OPS 3 BASICS AND WHAT TO KNOW -Dorwulf

It’s been almost three years since we’ve seen Treyarch’s take on Call of Duty, but the Black Ops 3 Beta proves that the veteran studio hasn’t lost its expert touch. The addition of selectable Specialist characters, wall-running shootouts worthy of a Wachowskis movie, and powerful new weapons all add up to a fresh and dynamic experience.

Whether you’re a series veteran or new to Call of Duty, this PlayStation.Blog post is dedicated to getting you ahead in the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Beta, currently live on PS4 through the end of the weekend.

Basics

Slow down! Simple, but critical. When you sprint, you draw attention from enemy combatants. It’s better to creep quietly and use nearby cover to keep a low profile.

Keep it simple. Black Ops III adds new Combat Movements, or special stunts you can chain together to zip fluidly through the maps. You can do just fine without any of them, though, so don’t lose yourself in Wall Running just for the sake of it.

Fire when ready. Firing your weapon will set off enemy radars and draw the wrong kind of attention. Be mindful of when and where you fire your weapon, and be prepared to deal with enemies who may be drawn to the scene.

Learn to dominate. If you’ve been away from the Call of Duty scene for some time, Domination mode may be your more accessible way to level up without having to sport an elite kill-death ratio. As long as you can capture and defend territories, you can die as much as you like with no consequence.

Specialists

Ruin's special weapon is called Gravity Spikes. They are two spikes that will kill anyone within a small area when stuck into the ground.
His special ability is called Overdrive, and gives him a massive speed boost.

Outrider

Outrider's special weapon is the Sparrow. It's a compound bow that fires bolts with increasing range the longer it is drawn. Furthermore, the bolt will explode upon impact with an enemy!
Her special ability is called Vision Pulse. It's a a Sonic pulse that pings the surrounding area and reveals enemies within range.

Prophet

Prophet's special weapon is the Tempest, a charge-shot weapon that fires an arc of electricity, instantly killing enemies and chaining to all nearby hostiles.
His special ability is called Glitch. This allows him to flash back to a previous position while keeping all other conditions intact.

Battery

Battery's special weapon is the 'War Machine. This is a grenade launcher that fires bouncing grenades which detonate after a short time. They will also auto detonate if they directly hit an enemy.
Her special ability is called Kinetic Armor. This is reactive armor that deflects enemy bullets away from the body for five seconds. However, headshots and non-bullet damage will still be active!

Sereph

Sereph's special weapon is the Annihilator, a one-shot kill pistol with great penetration power.
Her special ability is called Combat Focus. While active, all score earned will trigger a bonus multiplier towards Scorestreaks.

Nomad

Nomad's special weapon is the H.I.V.E., which fires out pod traps that release nano drones upon enemies.
His special ability is Rejack. When he’s near death, Nomad can quickly boost himself back to full health. It’s a good way to turn the tables or buy enough time for an ally to show up and kill your attacker.

Reaper

Reaper's special weapon is the Scythe. This turns his arm into a quad barrel mini-gun.... nuff said.
His special ability is called Psychosis, and allows him to create three decoys of himself.

Spectre

Spectre's special weapon is the Ripper. These are twin blades that dissect enemies with surgical precision.
His special ability is Active Camo. As you would expect, this allows Spectre to become temporarily invisible on the battlefield.

CLASSIFIED

A ninth Specialist will be available in the full game, but no information was given in the beta.
